Detention camps increased to 10

The government has declared a detention center apart from the prisons and the police stations. The total number of detention camps in the country has now increased to 10.

 

 

The latest detention camp declared by the government is the Arasamurippu camp located in the Omanthai police area. The declaration had been made on June 8 through gazette notification number 1657/10.
