Tamils will never vote for a military leader - NFF Leader

Leader of the National Freedom Front (NFF), Wimal Weerawansa today asserted at the Mahaweli Centre in Colombo that the Northern Tamils would never vote or prefer a military leader like Gen.Sarath Fonseka."They do not possess such a maniac psychology", Weerawansa stressed.

 

He told a news conference that Sampanthan was creating an avenue through Sarath Fonseka to take the President before an international war tribunal.

The NFF leader opined that either Sampanthan was going mad these days in politics or treading  bersek without proper direction.

He challenged the TNA leader to come out in open and deny that he(Sampanthan) was against the North East merger, demand for a traditional homeland and removal of high security zones."Sampanthan is using Fonseka to take revenge on the President for crushing the LTTE", Weerawansa added.
